Background
Forest Bay is the only high-class ecotourism resort in the North of Phu Quoc Island, and boasts a full range of utilities for tourists and residents including resorts and hotels, a coastal residential area, and utility services. It is the only resort of its kind in Phu Quoc that is situated within reach of all four natural aspects: forest, ocean, river and mountain.
Objective
Forest Bay’s mission was to build a complete and methodical Brand Identity to convey the unique features of the project in terms of natural landscape and rich utilities. We were approached to create the Brand Name, Brand Logo, Brand Positioning Phrase, Master Brand Format and Media Systems for the brand.
Action and Result
We created the Brand Name Forest Bay to express one of the most unique highlights of the brand, namely its location in the heart of the largest primeval forest in Vietnam. We also suggested a range of unique and impressive Brand Positioning Phrases to demonstrate the competitive advantages of the brand, yet still express the luxury, high-class, tranquil and wholesome resort-living experience of the project.
In designing the logo, we focused on simplicity in design style, color, and font usage to represent the brand's quality and positioning. Using the minimalist image of the red mangrove flower as a symbol, the Forest Bay Phu Quoc logo highlights the ecological value and sophistication of the development. The five petals represent the harmony of feng shui elements in nature. The red color in the logo evokes the national characteristics of the red toad flower, a precious flower in the Red Book, helping to affirm the unique position of Forest Bay Phu Quoc in the region. Finally, the comprehensive Master Brand Format and Media Systems ensured Forest Bay’s consistent application throughout all its communications.
